“The Northport Police Department would like to remind all residents and visitors of the Village to lock their vehicles, especially overnight.  The department has received several reports of vehicles being rummaged through with property being taken.  Secure all valuables in your home and do not leave anything in plain sight that would invite someone to attempt to gain entry into your vehicle.  And remember to ALWAYS remove key fobs from your vehicle.”

The Northport Police Department is a Smart911 answering center.  Please register at www.smart911.com.  By registering your information you will help the police to better assist you if you have to call them in an emergency.  Helpful information will come across when you call, such as medical issues you may have.
